Shed chairman Ian Murry receives a donation from MFU Turriff offices Sarah Law for over £6000 watched by some grateful shed members.
Our new trailer purchased with part of the funds kindly donated by MFU mutual Turriff is used to transport goods and materials.
Our new Gazebo 3mx6m is erected outside of our workshop for the first-time. This will be used to cover our stall at local events.
150 YEARS THE POWER OF KINDNESS
In 2020 the Turriff Mens Shed will be supporting the British Red Cross celebrate its 150 years Anniversary by having a bucket day collection for them at our local Tesco Store in Turriff. Please come along and donate to their worthy cause. Text APPEAL to 70141 to donate £10 to their corona virus appeal.

Another successful coffee morning was held at he Turriff British legion on October 19th record attendance and our stall and raffle did well. Many thanks to all who attended and supported our shed and made donations. and placed orders.
The shed has installed a banner at the Turriff recycling centre with the kind permission of the council recycling officer, requesting anyone who is throwing away materials and tools to bring them to the shed where we can recycle them and reduce land fill. We are having a good response from everyone ,please bring your donated materials to our shed. Many thanks for your support .Shed Member Stan Cheyne is seen here with the banner.
Make do and mend event.

We had a another successful stall at this event for the second year running with the emphasis on recycling and repurposing materials we had good sales from our stall and were impressed by the keenness and interest shown by the visitors in our recycled goods.

The venue was at AD HEATING Fyvie next to the British Legion many thanks to them for organising this event.

Turriff vintage car and tractor rally.
​
Everyone had a great time at the Vintage car and tractor rally we had a stall selling our goods and recruited 2 new members. And launched a wheel appeal to ask the community to donate any old lawn mower wheels for us to recycle them instead of putting them into the local council recycling center where they are actually scrapped.

Turriff May day celebrations.
​
On the coldest May day since the last ice age we had a stall and made good sales and recruited a new member.
We showcased our items for sale and the items we made from recycled materials. We also highlighted the support we give to the local community and any groups with special needs and invited them to come along to the shed and discuss their needs.
